Who We Are?
The Litigation, Tax, Internal Audit, Financial Advisory & Compliance Division operates under the SYK Legal name
as an independent line of consulting work founded, owned and directed by Shaher Yar Khan. While the firm's litigation partners continue to serve clients across civil, criminal, arbitration and family matters, this division was built separately, on the strength of over a decade of hands-on tax litigation, internal audit and financial consulting practice.
We were formed on a simple observation: most Pakistani businesses encounter tax and financial risk only after it has already become a dispute. By the time a company reaches a litigator, the cost of a control failure has usually multiplied many times over. This practice exists to work earlier in that cycle - inside the business, before the notice arrives.
